Step into the pages of one of the world’s greatest epics as you journey through the Ramayana Trail in Sri Lanka. More than just a tour, this is a spiritual and cultural pilgrimage that connects ancient legend with real-world locations, weaving together the mythology of Ramayana with the island’s rich heritage. According to the epic, Sri Lanka was once the kingdom of Ravana—the powerful and complex ruler who abducted Princess Sita, leading to a divine mission by Lord Rama, his brother Lakshmana, and the devoted Hanuman.
This 8-day trail traces the footsteps of these immortal figures across misty mountains, sacred temples, hidden caves, and legendary battlefields. From the spot where Rama prayed for absolution to the grove where Sita is believed to have been held, every site resonates with centuries of devotion and storytelling. For believers, history enthusiasts, and cultural travelers alike, this is a journey through myth, mystery, and the spiritual soul of Sri Lanka.
