At the airport you will be met by your chauffeur for a private transfer to your hotel in Negombo, a coastal town (15km / approx. 25 mins).

After breakfast, start your journey to Sigiriya (Approx. 3.5 hrs / 150 kms). Check-in to your hotel and relax by the pool and its surrounding nature. In the afternoon you will drive to Minneriya National Park for a 2-3 hour jeep safari (20km / approx 45 mins). The plains and forests of this park are home to herds of elephants who come to graze and to bathe in the tank’s waters.

Set off this morning for Sigiriya, also known as the ‘Lion Rock’ (25km / approx. 45 mins). This UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of Sri Lanka’s major attractions. In the afternoon drive to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Polonnaruwa. The second most ancient of Sri Lanka's kingdoms, today you will visit multiple archaeological sites.

Today you will drive towards Kandy with a stop to visit the Dambulla cave temples en route (95km / approx. 3 hrs). Continue the drive to Kandy where you will arrive in the afternoon. Late afternoon you will visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, known locally as Sri Dalada Maligawa, the most sacred temple in the whole of Sri Lanka. Afterwards head to a local hall to watch a show of traditional Sri Lankan music, dance and drumming.

Today after breakfast leave for the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) for your departure flight back home. It is advisable to be at the airport 3 hrs prior to your flight. Your transfer to the airport will be arranged as per your departure flight information.
